Today Community/Road Policing Officers and the DVSA were at McLaren High School , Callander checking the school buses for roadworthiness to protect the safety of children using them. No defaults were found, all vehicles were found to be in good working order.

Following a vehicle stop by local officers in Callander, a 66 year old male has been arrested and charged for allegedly driving under the influence of drugs. The male has also been charged in relation to other road traffic offences.
