We’ve been plagued by road works on the same stretch of the A4 just outside Bath throughout the year. Why I wonder is there seemingly no coordination (fig once, do many). Rarely appears to actually be anyone working in said road works, and one direction over an hour queue!

Has anyone else received an ‘anti-fraud’ email from Nespresso. I couldn’t believe how naive it is, either it is a fraud itself preparing the way for a scam, or it isn’t a fraud and Nespresso have just taken the anti fraud awareness back several years.

Wouldn’ normally take to twitter, but I’ve been trying to get Nat West to make changes to an Association account since April following a change in treasurer, end of July still not completed! Tried to complain on-line and the ‘how to’ page gives lots of info - except ‘how to’ grr

2/2 what awful business practice from Virgin Media! I think I’ll charge them £4/day from now for safe storage of their kit. Hope you’re reading this Virgin Media!

Hope Virgin Media see this! I changed broadband providers a few weeks back. Virgin said they would collect their kit on 17th March, just had a text today to say they have charged me £40 as they have got their kit back, but they’d refund it when they collect it! What cheek! 1/2

What will it take to stop Virgin Media from bombarding me with sales calls (multiple per day) I block the number, they use a different one. I register a complaint with them, no change. I don’t want to trawl my circumstances through SM, save to say this is just the worst time.

Why is that despite being asked many times that I do not want to receive sales calls does Virgin insist on calling. Even blocking numbers doesn’t seem to work.

Fabulous concert tonight, Tallis Scholars at Bath Abbey. The sublime Allegri Miserere framed by Palestrina & a sprinkling of other equally good stuff. Spent most of it with my eyes closed, for me this was serious meditation food. Took me back to my time as an Abbey Lay Clerk.

Just read story on BBC News that Jacob Rees-Mogg has written to Civil Service to say staff must stop working at home and return to the office - to make effective use of gov buildings. I understand it isn’t a straight forward argument, but on the face of it this seems nuts! 1/1
