AI Overviews is broken. Inconsistent answers. Low-quality sources. Irrelevant queries. Google preaches EEAT, then surfaces garbage content. As @lilyraynyc said, it’s a complete 180 from Google's part after preaching EEAT. Why would creators keep making “helpful content” now?

So it turns out that Google’s AI Overview clutches its virtual pearls and runs off when faced with sweariness, so the same search request with “fuck”, “fucks” or “fucking” skips the AI part and goes straight to results. I found this out by asking how to make it fuck off.
