Today marks the official launch of the Dallas Green Infrastructure Plan part of Dallas ASILI project in Embu County, a milestone in local climate action. This community-driven initiative, in collaboration with the Dallas community, @embucountygovt , @CoMOSSAfrica , and @KDI_Kenya

The Dallas ASILI project and plan emphasizes the critical role of community involvement in driving sustainable change. Today’s launch event brings together residents, local government officials, and key stakeholders to discuss and shape the future of the Dallas settlement.
The Inception Workshop aims to reintroduce the DARAJA program to our partners and stakeholders, ensuring alignment with our goals and planned activities for this second phase.
DARAJA is an early warning weather & climate information services program designed to enhance access to & use of weather and climate information by frontline communities, including residents of informal settlements, as well as municipal planners and civil contingency officers.
