Hey @Nike “sacrificing everything” to “believe in something” is dying while serving your country to defend all our freedoms. It isn’t getting paid millions to star in your advertising campaign. Pathetic.
@ClayTravis @Nike I’m still confused at the folks who think Kaep sacrificed something. When he took the knee he had no clue that it would cost him football. When he found out that it would, he said that he would stand for the anthem if signed. That pretty much proves that he didn’t sacrifice.
@PaulBrakefield @ClayTravis @Nike Technically he sacrificed his job. He took the knee to raise awareness to police brutality. After trump made his comments it was known that kap wouldn’t signed because the NFL profits off of patriotism. He’s a hero since he spoke for what what he believed in
@ClayTravis @Nike And I’ve learned that Kaep never said he would stand. Fact checked. I stand up to my wrong statement.
@ClayTravis @Nike Now in HINDSIGHT the narrative has been twisted to fit the situation, making it look like he sacrificed his career. But you can’t convince me that he knew ahead of time that it would cost him what little was left of his career.
