This is what Rochester once was. Not waiting for the government to do things. We all always took care of those in need. Family, neighbors, church, community and then government was the last resort. Today with the destruction of the family, the decay of neighborhoods, the abandonment of faith, and the self-centered me first attitude, we have surrendered to the god of government for every issue. The price of this surrender is freedom, self-respect and self-sufficiency. Thank you Mr. Pullium for reminding us of what we can be.
