We have made sure PdaNet supports Windows 8.
3.02 is now released and re-listed in Android Market. Please install from Android Market. Should be available for all carriers for now.
3.0 adds a feature to hide tether usage. Most users do not need to turn it on unless you have received a message from such as T-Mobile.
Version 3.0 is released (windows only). This is our major release and has a lot of improvements under the hood.
Some are caught with a bad 2.45 build we uploaded at one point. If you see reboots/blue screens/broadband driver problem try download again.
Version 2.45 is released (windows only). Fixes multiple connection issues and the SMS agent feature has been improved.
2.42 is released with some bug fixes and minor tweaks. Changes related to the SMS agent will be added in our next update.
Start adding free features not related to Internet. V2.41 adds an SMS Agent for sending/receiving SMS on Windows. Feedbacks welcome.
2.17 fixes ftp, force close/connection drops and Bluetooth DUN. It also supports 64bit Mac and ping.
2.16 is now available. Must upgrade both phone and computer ends. Fixes issues on mac installer and connection dropping bug in 2.15.
Mac USB Tether is now supported in 2.15. Hopefully also fixes connection issues for Windows users.
2.14 is available at our website. Fixes connection drops and DNS issues. Compatible with HTC Sync. Free version now supports all but https.
You asked for home widget, we listened. Please get 2.12 from Android Market. No need to reinstall the computer side if you already have 2.11
The Bluetooth DUN feature in 2.11 beta build has a DNS problem so it won't work. It has been fixed in the release build. Please reinstall.
Good news for Mac and Linux users (and Windows users too). Version 2.11 is in beta which adds Bluetooth DUN support.
2.02 is in preview release. It should work on all Motorola, Samsung or HTC phones released lately. Also fixes a slow DNS lookup problem.
We are adding supports to Motorola/Samsung Android phones in coming updates.
There is a port conflict between PdaNet and HTC Sync. This will be addressed in our next update.
Version 1.17 is released. Fixes installation problem on Android 1.6. Also allow auto-connect when phone is attached.
Version 1.16 is released. It requires Android 1.5(Cupcake) or above. This fixes the OpenDNS error as well as other connection errors.
