Prosecution gets a final reply. Hobson says the court doesn't need to have mistake of law play out for the jury. It's in the court's purview to deny it & there is no case law that mistake of law in belief of necessity is allowed. This would transform justifications into excuses.

There are a few more arguments around public policy and the court's role vs. the jury's role in evaluating the evidence, & a quick side discussion confirming everyone is on the same page for count 1&2 being specific intent crimes and count 3&4 being general intent crimes.
