If I won Roubaix twice, set up the biggest French team, was a prominent anti-doping voice long before it was cool, and in the 2020s set up maybe the best youth development pipeline in cycling, I’d be a bit annoyed that most people’s perception of me was “Yelly man crazy”.

A lot of mad things happened in the Ronde yesterday, but one of the maddest is that apart from MvdP and WvA, the closest rider to Pog who didn't get a 3-minute head start was Tiesj Benoot, who came in 5:12 down.
