If you’re using kubernetes for anything other than autoscaling, you don’t need it. If you’re using it for autoscaling, you prob don’t need it either. When I ask why k8s I sometimes hear “for security” (??????????)

GitHub feels like a product that isn't used by the people that work there. That can't POSSIBLY be true, I know. I just hit issues everyday that really make me wonder... how can this bug exist? More likely engineers aren't empowered to fix things and are bogged down by red tape.

There is a meme that printers are difficult. I have never found them to be so. No major dramas on all major brands. Perhaps because I insist on printers with an Ethernet port - that may ensure that the standard isn't too low.

After 5+ years using what has been released in part as Sapling, now retiring to git I'm shocked how bad of a developer experience it provides. It's obvious given that most people either remember three actions, or try to improve it with aliases & scripts, or use plugins.
