I've been incredibly lucky to learn from @FranzBiomech the past 4 years. He leads by example with genuine interest & compassion. Now that I've earned my PhD, the most important lesson I've learned is to ask: "WWJD - What Would Jason Do?" -and that is likely the best step forward!

I worked with a masters student yesterday to pilot her protocol to collect biomechanics on volleyball players. We used OpenCap then downloaded the data a few minutes later. She couldn’t stop smiling. It was contagious. I’m excited for the future of motion capture!

This week, I'm so lucky to race at Collegiate Mountain Bike Nationals again as a PhD student and veteran rider for @UNCCycling! So much has changed since I last competed in 2014, but its great to still be riding and meeting other amazing racers. Life is always better on a bike!
