We met retired US Marine Charlie Linville and his service dog 🐶Devon! He said, “On days when I have mental issues or physical pain, his eyes make everything feel better.” @ccicanine

The VA is conducting a federally mandated study on the correlation between service dogs and mental health improvement of PTSD affected veterans.

Service dogs 🐕 have extensive training in order to best aid the veteran they’re paired with. They learn tasks such as turning on lights, fetching pill bottles and searching the house for intruders. #dogs @ccicanine
