Work gave me my compensation increase I demanded. After yesterday being a shit day, I am elated.

Well. Time to actively look for another job. As much as I love where I work, waiting a month on my compensation request and being told “it’s in process” is a bit much. I’ve been on the other end of this before, and I always got back to my employees within 2 weeks.
