MATCH OFF! Despite a slight improvement in conditions and the best efforts of our groundstaff Andy and Dave, the ground at Ponteland is still too wet for a game to take place this Saturday Our 2nd XI fixture at home to @BomarCC is therefore cancelled.

PROMOTION! Not the way we would have wanted it but a total wash out ☔️ across the @NTCLCricket Division 4 today means our 2nd XI finish in second place and thus are promoted to Division 3 for the 2024 season Congratulations to @BomarCC who go up as champions! 🏆

With 2 wins from 3 to top the group we faced Tynemouth in the final. Impressive batting performances from Vic and Vinita meant we set a challenging target. With Tynemouth needing 10 runs off the last 2 overs. Vinita kept it tight then Gagandeep took 2 wickets to complete the win
