Novice runners tend to go too hard on the easy days and too easy on the hard days. Same thing occurs in the office. We spend too much time, energy & effort on emails, meetings, etc. We don't block off enough time for the deep work that leads to actual progress & growth.

Well here are the splits from #LondonMarathon. After running 2.29 last year and all my training I was aiming for 2:27 or under but after around 25kms my legs were just screaming and it was so fkn hard to push through.. Proud I never gave up and still ran a champs time. 🥹🥵

Well #LondonMarathon 2:36:56 Pretty heartbroken and this will hurt for some time. Not the time I came for but it’s the time I got. Quads were completely gone after 20kms and no idea why, possibly the downhills. Wanted to quit but glad I didn’t. I trained very well but 🤷♂️
