Another great kiln unloading morning. James Lash is hitting home runs with his classic car plates and Dan Tell's "Danville" platter is jaw dropping. Kaori Gokita is loving blowing bubbles for these gorgeous pieces. Linda Shier contributed one of her very popular fish trays.

Snap Photo Squad did a photo essay of Metrotown in Burnaby. They caught some interesting textural compositions. Sheldon Simons took these amazing cloud shots. He's a master at what he does. Sheri Lynn Seitz is the texture expert and she lived up to the title yesterday also.

Yesterday was the 77th birthday of Miss Linda Shier. Linda was the first PotteryWorks artist, 25 years ago. We all love Miss Shier, she's the heart of our studio. Although she has retired, we still get to spend one day a week in the studio with her. Happy Birthday Miss Linda !

We produced a series of Ikebana flower arrangers and Matcha bowls. Kaori Gokita has been bubbling away with her glazes and the result is breath taking. James Lash contributed this "Jamestown" tray and Linda Raudonus did a perfect job on the evergreen themed pot. Have a look !

Snap Photo Squad revisited Central Park yesterday, since the changing season's offer new views of this park. Of course Sheldon Simons caught some great animal shots, he's the animal whisperer. Bradley Merritt and Kaori Gokita caught some of the beauty of Central Park's greenery.

Linda Raudonus has enjoyed a run of successful paintings. Linda's abstract works are very popular at shows, but it's time to progress. Linda's experiment with an abstracted landscape, was a hit at last years Inclusion Show, so she's been developing new works using that concept.

Our newest artist Bradley Merritt, is a very versatile, creative man. Bradley loves wheel throwing and is producing a series of pots, with flags of the world themes. We couldn't talk about Bradley's skills though without mentioning his new found passion for his photography.

We're blowing bubbles in PotteryWorks studio having some summertime fun with bubble glazing. Our artists love the process and it's a break from some of the intense work they do. The effect is very popular with our customers and lots of laughs doing it. Have a look at the results

What a Monday kiln unloading So many beautiful pieces, it's hard to choose. James Lash is the star of this show, with his car plates and the Iris patterned serving set. The floral set is from Dan Tell and Kaori Gokita produced the beautiful floral platter with Japanese script.
