Behind all the glamour there is emptiness; and behind all materialistic gains there is purposelessness, unless one combines dharma in one’s life. Be glamorous but religious too. Earn lot of money but do spend to preserve & propagate Hinduism. Only then life becomes meaningful.

No. Hindus would never have. Because, exploitation of nature as West does is rooted in Abrahamic theology that God created man and then for his enjoyment He created woman and rest of nature. Whereas in Hinduism man has no higher rights than any in nature.
