@HMOIndia Kindly note that ITBP and Army are confronting PLA in East Ladakh. DG ITBP is holding Addl charge of BSF for last 3 mths, which may adversely effect supervision of operations. Appointing DG BSF at the earliest would be prudent at this time @PMOIndia @deepikadeshwal

Every service deserves to be led by those from its ranks. CAPF performs vital functions securing our borders as well in upholding internal security. Their own cadre officers should get a chance to lead!
