While overall the Long Island single-family market improved in sales, Nassau County was down 9.2%, while Suffolk County was up 10.4% in Nov 2023 vs. 2024

Long Island's residential real estate market saw 1.9% more single-family sales and 4.4% fewer apartment sales in November 2024 compared to 2023. Prices were up for both property types, as well as a small increase in days on market.

17 Montgomery Place was Brooklyn's highest residential contract in November 2024 and the 16th highest for 2024 so far, at $8,500,000.

Unit 52E at 50 West 66th Street was the most expensive contract in Manhattan during November 2024 at $54,500,000, and is the 5th highest of 2024 so far.

Co-ops performed poorly in Manhattan, falling 16.1% in November 2024 compared to 2023, continuing a trend started earlier this year.

Residential inventory in Manhattan climbed 2.5% in November 2024 vs. 2023 to just over 6,200 active listings.

Our Manhattan Q1 2023 residential sales report will release Tuesday, April 4th. Sales were down 37.4% year-over-year, as expected based on last quarter. Contracts, compared to 2019 (the last "normal" year), are up slightly. #realestatemarket #manhattan #realestate
