We captured a small swarm from someone's backyard and now we are using them for science! This project will monitor hive health based on how many bees are flying in and out of the hive and flight activity! Stay tuned for more on how this hive's data will be used! #communityscience

One of the most adventurous colonies we've captured to date! This hive was nestled a little too close to a family for their comfort and we were able to take out the hive and its comb from the inside of a dead tree and give them a new home! #beekeeping #savethebees
