When I was a kid, programmers had to go through universities to reach employers, and go through employers to reach users. Now both are optional. You don't need a degree to get hired, but you also don't need to get hired: you can sell direct to users.

Over the years we owed a lot of freelancers small (<$150 USD) payments, but they didn’t answer us as to payment method or just disappeared. 🙈 They have all come out of the woodwork in the past week asking for money. 👋 🚨 Some for work as far back as 2016. 📅 Paying everyone. 💵
