Yes, there are always exceptions to the rule.
@RMFifthCircuit In a criminal case, if there are seven arguably reversible errors, you have to raise them all. You don't have to press them all at OA, but you have to raise them. Appellate judges understand this. If they don't, they shouldn't be appellate judges.
