Why did you want to become a GP? We’re hearing some amazing stories about why people went into general practice and the joy of delivering patient centred care to 3 or 4 generations of one family. But there are concerns about maintaining enough younger GPs and the use of PAs.

Prof Ann John, Professor of public health at Swansea University, told the GP update that we should not be reliant on risk assessment tools when treating patients who, or are at risk, of self harm or suicide. #mentalhealth
Thank you so much to Prof Ann John for an excellent, thought provoking talk on suicide and self harm in mental health. It’s such an important issue to get right and her advice was most welcome.
