I hope Ashby starts on Thursday and makes a claim for that RB spot. Lot of talk about signing a new LB and rightly so, but we have a problem at RB too. Coufal is a shadow of his 20/21 self and both him and Johnson are just not good enough in the final third going forwards.

Nothing worse than when the underdog beats one of the ‘top 6’ clubs and all the Sky punditry team do is focus on the faults of the top 6 instead of analysing the quality from the underdog. Unbelievable performance from Brentford, outclassed them all over from the first whistle 👏

We’re down to EIGHTEEN available first team players, which includes 3 goalkeepers. ONE fit centre half, who missed 11 games through injury last year. We have to be a lot closer to targets than what’s being reported to allow Vlasic and Diop to leave today surely…

Really don’t understand our interest in Gallagher, good player but he’s not what we need. We need a creative attacking midfielder and a defensive midfielder who is good technically on the ball. Gallagher is neither of them.

Signing a CB for cheap or on loan has to become the instant priority imo. Aguerd is out for another 6 weeks at least, Dawson seems broken after playing whilst injured majority of last season, Ogbonna long way off PL match fitness and Diop is refusing to play and wants to move.
