This Friday @SouthDownsWayNT will be celebrating it's 50th birthday. When it officially opened on 15 July 1972, it was Britain's first long-distance bridleway. Since then, thousands of people have walked, cycled and ran the 100-mile stretch. 📷 @djgwild #50SDW #SouthDowns
