This was the special room, you can see the recording setup there. When the hotel was being built, they founded part of the ancient Athens wall, which you can see to the left of the picture. Curious about how the final edited talks look like.

I’ve declared fave conferences before but none match this. I had high expectations for @RailsSaaS. It blew them all away. Incredible to hang out with ~70 people in a growing niche. Who knew you could make so many friends at the intersection of a technology & a business model.

Always expect something to go wrong! 15 minutes before my presentation at @RailsSaaS , my laptop’s keyboard died 💀💀 Luckily, @andrewculver had an external keyboard and I managed to transfer the slides 😮‍💨

So, this was an incredibly classy and touching surprise @RailsSaaS had prepared. I am so honored. The award is solid crystal, including the ruby on top. It weights, it reflects light beautifully, and it is really gorgeous. It'll have a place in my living room. ❤️
