Why did the cookie go to the doctor? Because it felt crummy!! This is my favorite joke and was my kids favorite growing up. Tell a joke, laughing is good for you😉😁😂 #NationalTellAJokeDay
M12: EBP's importance to my future practice will be in how patients are cared for in terms of prevention and maintenance. Most important point: the practice is only as good as the evidence available. #NURS751
M11: Key difference between EBP and PBE is EBP is what the research shows and PBE is what your practice shows. There is limited PBE concerning opioid addiction treatment but lots of EBP on topic. #NURS751
#AJNURS751 your improving ICU for serious illness and end of life poster presentation is an important topic. How many facilities have reported using your model and what are reported outcomes for providers, RNs and patients?
M10: mHealth would improve outcomes for opioid recovery patients by monitoring physical triggers of withdrawal and contacting patients to encourage contact with healthcare providers. This would encourage abstinence and a life line to those maintaining recovery. #NURS751
WK10: @AZDHS has resources that are important to future FNP practice. Most recent tweets include Hep A vaccine, safety during monsoons and heat stroke prevention. Reliable as focused on specific AZ issues. #NURS646SS19
WK8: Order sets are an important tool in CDS to provide EBP as well as meet the success factors. As an APRN this will be useful to see patients in a timely manner and provide EBP care.#NURS646SS19
#nurs751 m8: SAMHSA has Decisions in recovery: Medications for Opioid Use Disorder. samhsa.gov/brss-tacs/shar…
Wk6:UC would probably be environment and software as a rural/remote FNP. To overcome, I would use patient's home as their clinic, have good satellite connection, and necessary hardware/software like closest hospital for necessary care if needed. #NURS646SS19
M6: the Iowa Model of EBP by Dr. Marita G. Titler best supports my CPG for opioid treatment in rural communities. This model considers not only the patient but the healthcare infrastructure, providers and research findings in clinical practice. #NURS751
M5: CPGs are guidelines, not standards of practice. Daily clinic visits for rural patients combating opioid addiction is not feasible with current CPGs. However, modifications in recommendations and use of tech can individualize care for better outcomes. #NURS751
WK4: Most important problem identified is useability. To many clicks to find info or input info makes charting tedious and time consuming. Making EHRs more user friendly will give providers more time at the patient's side and not in front of a computer. #NURS646SS19
#JMNURS751 I used to be a nurse manager and then moved to a different unit as a staff RN. Prior r experience is not always a plus. How do I get over me anxiety with staffing when it seems it is about the budget and not the patient care/safety?
M4: meta-analysis by Mohammed Mir on Needle exchange programs and HIV seroconversion. Contributes to EBP by showing current NEPs are ineffective but could be enhanced with other HIV prevention methods/education. #NURS751
M3: Qualitative vs. Quantitative. Quantitative is stronger due to being measurable, hard science Qualitative is what is used to develop theories and assess observations. However, both are needed to take care of the whole patient. #NURS751
M2: level D or IV evidence mostly, depending on scale used. Current standard and practice. Would implement but more randomized control studies are needed. #NURS751
M1: My goal for this quest is to be confident in searching and applying for the best evidence to provide the best care to patients. We have a good base with stats and research, I just hope to be more proficient. #NURS751
EXP #NURS646SS19: I hope will learn to use Twitter as I do not currently use it. I also hope to see how informatics will benefit me in my future practice as well as have a clear understanding what informatics is in concept and practice.

This son bought his dad a truck after his dad’s truck broke down. He’s not a NBA or NFL, DR. or a lawyer, hust a regular guy worked hard to get his dad a truck. This shows his appreciation. The gift just says THANKS DAD... I love you!

@RaquelOCastro2 It needs to be about budget equally to clinical. It’s not one or other or else we’d finish breaking the healthcare system. That said, you need to show your evidence locally to influence budget and staffing levels. Instead is finance giving nursing HPPD targets, flip it. It works
@UaCon @BusinessInsider What's left out is any mention of what nurses and nursing organizations are doing to address these issues. Or pairing this with why 3 million nurses still care about and for patients, families and communities.
