So exited to spot Dinocampus coccinellae at @NTNewarkPark, I remember reading about this species as one of my first insights into parasitic wasps, an absolutely incredible species, and potentially a new record for the area!

It's hard to describe how many Four-spotted Chasers there were at Thorne Moor today. There were hundreds in every sheltered patch of reeds. I saw several thousand and only covered a fraction of the reserve. No wonder there are so many Hobbies!
