Lordy, I’ve been quiet. Felt like a bit of a fraud as I got a job, just a contract. That got extended a couple of times, which was awesome. Now set to finish end of July. I think I count as being redundant again then right?!

Weirdest phone call just now. Kept my work mobile number and just had a call from a chap at a Russian firm (total stranger). Explained I had left the company a few weeks ago - his response. “Very good. Are you pregnant, hahaha.” #WTF #lostintranslation 🤣 ?!

I couldn’t agree more. It’s time to treat people like grown ups and trust them to make a judgement call on when AND WHERE people work from. It’s amazing how few employers truly recognise the rewards of trusting their people

I was feeling a bit sad that Fridays are a bit ruined for me right now. No relief at reaching the end of the week and excitement about the weekend. And then I had a little word with myself. Because Fridays still rock and now I get to take my lovely dog on a stomp #FridayFeeling
