It was enjoyable to read Charles Ryrie on “Baptism in the Spirit” from his book, 'Dispensationalism' after yesterday's dealings. It was very lovely to read Ryrie also state there: "Of course, the labels "Reformed", "Covenant" and "Dispensational" are not mutually exclusive."

Re: John 3:16 Ask yourself as you interpret this most well known verse: What kind of love would not accomplish that for which it was sent?
The affirmation that Jesus is not presently reigning from the Davidic throne does not mean that He is not presently reigning as King in any sense whatsoever. Jesus rules and reigns now as King. (Matt 25:31; cf. Rev 3:21)
Jesse, this is due to wanting to allow a post or mid trib view which is hardly the end of the world. Many non-RD TMS grads hold to that. You’re actually more fixated on winning Internet wars than being peaceable. I’m teaching 5 part eschatology series & Pre-trib is in it. Chill.
