If you are going to enforce that taunting foul, I think you have to call that a late hit out of bounds. Didn't impact the drive, but not sure how we enforce a verbal taunt but not a late push well out of bounds.

Sometimes when you have a national, game-opening spotlight game, POE is over-adjudicated. Remember Shawn Hochuli a few years back with the illegal formation fouls on the tackle? This game is about setting the tone for the season. Right or wrong... it's true and how they view it

You are not going to draw a DPI foul on a ball that lands yards out of bounds. If that ball is catchable in the end zone, that probably draws a flag. Official looked like he twitched for flag, but ball didn't look all that catchable. Did the contact cause that incompletion? 🚫

I - personally - would like to see more than that to warrant a taunting foul. It is a point of emphasis, but this is opening night, heated rivals.... I'd prefer to let them play. I think NFL wants that called, so not necessarily disagreeing with Shawn Smith, more the POE

Nobody watches Redzone for Scott Hanson - they watch for commercial free football. If that changes, will people still watch? Isn’t it basically the same as watching the game broadcast and flipping channels or games on Sunday NFL Ticket? The idea was Redzone did it for you…

I mean.... this was not even reviewed for targeting. Sure looks like a targeting foul to me. Forcible contact to the head/neck area to a defenseless receiver.

Ok - guess Big 12 replay official went to get a quick bathroom break? I mean….?? Nothing mentioned at all on the ESPN broadcast either. TD next play so mute point, but kind of odd? Maybe it’s just me 🤷🏻‍♂️

Herbstreit really does not sound enthusiastic. I'm not sure if it's NFL, other things, Gameday, but he does sound excited or interested in calling some of these games anymore. Sounded flat Saturday night too.
