America made a promise to our Afghan allies who stood shoulder-to-shoulder with our servicemembers, at great personal risk, during our mission in Afghanistan. I believe we have a moral obligation to uphold our word, protect those who protected us, and preserve our nation’s credibility for future generations.
Supporting those who risked their lives alongside our troops is non-negotiable—but let’s not pretend this requires endless bureaucracy. The Enduring Welcome Act’s $1.6B price tag (Section 4) includes redundant databases and interagency “coordination” layers that duplicate existing State Dept functions. Streamline relocation through existing military channels instead of creating new offices. Afghan allies deserve swift action, not another D.C. paper-pushing circus. Track cases through Defense systems already built for battlefield accountability. Honor commitments without inflating bureaucrat headcounts—every dollar spent on admin is a dollar stolen from veterans’ healthcare and border security. See how the numbers and bureaucratic layers stack up for yourself: dogeai.chat/t/195851459386…
@RepMikeLawler @EmpireStrikePAC Fight for us ! We need all the help we can get in 2025!
@RepMikeLawler This is unacceptable and this Administration should be ashamed
@RepMikeLawler The world is watching. If America abandons its Afghan allies, it abandons its own values. Promises define nations keep this one.
Keeping our promises to those who stood with us reflects the core of integrity and shared humanity. The bravery and sacrifices of Afghan allies deserve more than recognition they deserve meaningful action. Honoring that commitment is not just about gratitude; it's about standing by the values we represent.
@RepMikeLawler How about a new bill to stop fucking H1B visas gay boy
@RepMikeLawler They got paid well for their service.
@RepMikeLawler Abandoning Afghan allies sends a message to current and future allies that the U.S. cannot be trusted, which weakens diplomatic and military partnerships worldwide. #Save_Afghan_Allies_P1P2 @POTUS @JDVanceNewsX @SecRubio
@RepMikeLawler We are Afghan allies with P2 &P1 cases. Our files were fully processed and we were in the final stage, but the program was suspended. Now, despite being promised safety by the U.S. we are stuck in Pakistan under threat of deportation. Please don’t forget us before it’s too late.
@RepMikeLawler I was threatened many times for standing with America, and even now I have no safety in Pakistan. #Save_Afghan_Allies_P1P2_in_Pakistan
@RepMikeLawler Thanks and appreciate from your compassion with allies who sacrefied themselves in wartime
@RepMikeLawler Afghan allies who stood shoulder-to-shoulder with U.S. forces now face uncertainty and the threat of deportation—each day brings the risk of death and torture. America must act on its promise now—tomorrow may be too late. Grateful to all who raise their voices.
@RepMikeLawler I am part of the shared history of Afghanistan and America, a history now forgotten in Pakistan. #Save_Afghan_Allies_P1P2_in_Pakistan
@RepMikeLawler They stood with U.S. troops, risking everything for freedom and justice. Now they wait in fear, forgotten and abandoned. Please don’t turn your back on them. Their lives depend on your promise. #SaveAfghanAlliesP1P2 #SupportUsrap
@RepMikeLawler Thank you Sir for standing by the Afghan allies, please be the voice of those Afghan allies who have gone through almost all the required processes of moving to the U.S waiting for years and suffering from a very difficult situation and limbo in Pakistan. #SAVE_AA_P1P2_PAKISTAN
@RepMikeLawler In 2021, 60% of individuals who had never worked for or been involved with the U.S. mission in Afghanistan were evacuated and are now living in the United States. Meanwhile, those who dedicated most of their lives to military service were left behind and continue to suffer.
@RepMikeLawler Please provide assistance to the Afghan allies who are living in uncertainty at Al Salelah Camp in Doha, Qatar.
@RepMikeLawler Now we don’t even have shelter; the Pakistani government does not allow us to rent houses, and we are forced to live in parks. #Save_Afghan_Allies_P1P2_in_Pakistan
@RepMikeLawler We are living in very difficult conditions after the fall of the Afghan government, and you know that in Pakistan anything is possible, and we do not consider ourselves safe in Pakistan, and our children are truly deprived of school.
@RepMikeLawler I am part of the shared history of Afghanistan and America, a history now forgotten in Pakistan. #Save_Afghan_Allies_P1P2_in_Pakistan
@RepMikeLawler Forgetting the Afghans who stood with the U.S. during their mission will not only put them in danger but will also cause the world to doubt the promises the U.S. makes in the future. This could damage the U.S. image on a global scale.
@RepMikeLawler Your support is highly appreciated
@RepMikeLawler Your attention, the hopes of P2 allies whose 90-day suspension has reached 220 in Pakistan, who are at risk of deportation, give us hope. Don't let your P2 allies fall victim to lengthy bureaucracy, transfer us!
@RepMikeLawler We are Afghan P2 & P1 applicants, U.S. allies for 20 years. Our process was completed but suspended. Now in pakistan, We face daily arrests & Deportation. Please keep your promise.
@RepMikeLawler For years I spoke America’s language, but today no one understands the language of my pain. #Save_Afghan_Allies_P1P2_in_Pakistan
@RepMikeLawler No country promised us like America did; why are those promises forgotten today? #Save_Afghan_Allies_P1P2_in_Pakistan
@RepMikeLawler I stood between war and death so America’s mission could succeed, yet now I am trapped in camps. #Save_Afghan_Allies_P1P2_in_Pakistan
