This morning, I joined @RepSnyder85 and @SenJesseJames to testify on Bradyn's Law in the State Senate. With session resuming, I look forward to continuing our efforts to protect Wisconsin's kids from sextortion, and seeing Bradyn's Law become part of our statutes!

For families across the 87th Assembly District, today marks the first day of school! Good luck to the teachers and students who returned to the classroom today and in the previous weeks, and may the new school year be filled with learning and success!

The dedication and resourcefulness of the Wisconsin worker is the lifeblood of our economy and hometowns. Thank you to all of the workers who keep our state moving forward, and may you have a fun and relaxing Labor Day!

When I ask my constituents about their top priorities, by far the most common answer I get back is repairing our roads and bridges. My vote for the 2025-2027 State Budget secured major investments in fixing and maintaining the roads we rely on in the 87th Assembly District!

Frustratingly, Governor Evers vetoed the bill I worked on with @RepRonTusler to create specialized commercial dockets, like those used by 30 other states to improve court efficiency. Despite this veto, I remain committed to finding solutions to the case backlog in our courts!

The Agricultural Roads Improvement Program has been very successful at making long-awaited repairs to the rural roads our farmers and communities rely on. My vote for the 2025-27 State Budget secured a $150 million dollar investment to continue the work to maintain rural roads!

The latest edition of the Jacobson Journal is out! This week, we go over Governor Evers' veto of my bill to hold repeat offenders to account. We also unpack the $1.5 billion tax cut we passed in the budget, and discuss my recent tour of County Materials. rb.gy/h0udl6

This session, both Governor Evers and Legislative Democrats have pushed to replace the word "mother" in our laws with terms like "inseminated person". I'm proud to stand with the more than 77% of respondents to my budget survey who oppose this radical gender ideology!

Nearly 3/4 of the responses to my spring survey said they support local cooperation with ICE to detain violent illegal immigrants. I heard your concerns, and I am proud to co-sponsor AB 24, a bill requiring our sheriffs to help ICE deport illegal immigrants charged with felonies!

I went into this legislative session committed to providing relief to Wisconsinites burdened by big government and high taxes. My vote on the 2025-27 State Budget secured a $1.5 billion dollar tax cut, delivering long awaited tax relief!

On Monday, I joined Wisconsin State Representative John Spiros for a tour of County Materials! I enjoyed seeing first hand how they turn raw stone into high-quality construction and landscaping products right here in Wisconsin!

The timber and paper mill industries have long been a critical part of life in Northcentral Wisconsin. By investing $42 million into modernizing the Rothschild Dam, our budget secures private investments to keep the Rothschild and Nekoosa paper mills running well into the future!

As part of our investments in agriculture, the 2025-2027 State Budget provides $12 million to help staff county conservation departments. This funding ensures that our farms continue reliably producing healthy and nutritious products well into the future!

Our farms and processors play a key role in moving Wisconsin forward, and are a prominent part of our heritage in the 87th Assembly District. Our State Budget invests $1.8 million to help dairy and meat processors continue making world-famous products!

Modern police vehicles are often equipped with extra lights to improve visibility. However, state law has not been updated to allow many of these lights. Today in the Transportation Committee, I testified on a bill I authored to modernize our laws into the 21st century.

Last week I succeeded in getting my first bill signed into law! This new law provides local law enforcement and fire departments with high tech active hearing protection devices. I'm proud to deliver this victory to help protect our public safety professionals from hearing loss!

As the Assembly worked through the night, I am proud to have had the opportunity to dispel liberal lies and defend our budget on the floor, which will deliver substantial tax cuts to all working Wisconsinites!
