Voltage regulator on my Atari failed. It damaged the TIA chip. New 7805 that can handle 1.5A instead of 0.5A. I also added a heat sink. #Atari #RETROGAMING

Was working on an Atari 2600. Only a few cartridges (Qbert and Moon Patrol) were working. This Rev. 16 board had a 555 timer that failed causing the MPU (6507) to come out of reset too soon. Most other boards use a capacitor. #Atari2600 #Atari

I tested two heatsinks (one from DF Robot and one from Easycargo) on a C64's CIA chip. One of these heatsinks provided little to no cooling. These results should be regarded as anecdotal. youtu.be/uMA3GhXlWyQ #C64 #Commodore64 #RetroComputing #Heatsink

It's a Machine Code program stored at the beginning of Screen Memory. Each character puts a Screen Code into memory and then this is run using an SYS Command for 7680. #Coding #Commodore #Retro #VIC20
