The second cyclist to win all 3 Grand Tours of road cycling. The Phoenix captured his first Grand Tour victory just 3 years into his professional cycling career at the Vuelta a Espana. Imagine what Gimondi could have done if his prime adversary hadn't been Eddy Merckx.

One of the most vicious and feared figures in all of cycling, the Badger, known for his short temper and bossy style, tallied 5 Tour de France wins, 3 Giros, and 2 Vueltas. He is one of 7 to win all 3 Grand Tours, and one of 2 to win each more than once. He dominated the 80's.

Coppi competed in 3 tours. Regardless, he went home as a winner in two of them. He tallied 5 Giro wins and a whopping 28 wins in one day races and classics. What if WWII hadn't interrupted his career. What if he had competed in the Vuelta. We'll never know what might have been.

Jacques Anquetil famously predicted he would lead the 23 stage 1961 Tour de France from start to finish. Then, he went and did it, a staggering feat. Supremely confident (some might say cocky), he was the first to reach five general qualification victories in the Tour de France.

Miguel Indurain claimed five consecutive Tour titles along with two Giro titles. He won the Olympic time trial Gold Medal in 1996 and a victory at the World Time Trial Championship in 1995. Absolutely dominant from 1991 - 1995, he was a modest, unassuming man, loved by his team

With 3 Giro wins and 2 tours (10 years apart!), you can only wonder how many more victories Gino Bartali would have racked up if not for his rival Fausto Coppi and WWII. One of the greatest climbers of all time, Gino won six consecutive mountain classifications at the Giro
