It hasn't been that long. Not dead yet, at least. Any updates?

"That doesn't make me any less worried about your safety, you shitty hero." Laura rolled her eyes and chuckled, pulling out her PDA to set a tentative battle plan and formation for the mission. "Let's try not to cause a scene… Leave not a single trail behind."

"I won't object to having a Commander on-site, but remember that you're only human. You give the orders and find safety behind your Dolls, I'll keep track of you in a nearby command post." Laura falls silent for a bit, then speaks up. "If… 45 has her own judgment. Follow her."

She didn't want to rely on 404 so much… But she couldn't take any risks either. "…Yes. This shouldn't be outside their field of expertise, but we have to consider our enemies to be deadly. Our objective is to find and sabotage their operation as swiftly as possible."

"…!" Laura felt Simon's finger below her eyepatch and immediately reacted, grabbing her wrist with quite the starting force to get her hand away from her. "Don't just touch it without permission!" She ordered, letting go of her wrist. "Sigh… Why are all scientists the same…?"

"Anyone could trip the alarm if they find any signs of hostility. One misfired shot could alert the entire sector as well… We either go in loud or go in quiet. We need night infiltration specialists. Welrod is one, and ideally 404 would suffice for this mission, but…"

Laura knows where she's looking. Doesn't say a thing about it though, she's more surprised at the job the doctor is handling. "That's quite the important task… When it comes to fruition, I'll certainly make it so everyone will know your name." Laura smiles with confidence.

"…Hm. The armed humans can be dispatched, but I'm unsure about the Nyto. There must be a pattern within their hierarchy to know which ones can be engaged by our T-Dolls. Handguns are a must. We need someone else to protect them as well, and sniper coverage as necessary…"

Laura nodded to her words and extended her arm for a handshake, looking welcoming if anything. "Well, it's nice to meet you, Dr. Simon. Aside from Persica we've only got a handful of researchers in our R&D sector. I assume you… know what it means to work with us, at this point."

"So you've fought them before… If what you're saying is true, then we can't go in that factory without a plan. Sending a strike team to sweep the place completely isn't right, either… We'd have to infiltrate and isolate them. Do you have any Dolls that are up to the task?"

…A face she doesn't recognize. She's wearing a lab coat, so she assumes she's affiliated with Persica due to the mention of her name. "Interim head of command, but I'd rather not use that title. Consider me a regular Commander, just like everyone else. And you are…?"

"Hold on, Nyto? She appeared again?" Laura asked again, even more information being flooded into her mind. It was against her own judgment to act without preparation first… "…Alright. If that sector isn't completely taken over by KCCO, then we might be able to intercept it…"

"I'm not one to say my opinion during planning, but rushing in blind sounds like a terrible idea. Give me something more concrete, Erin…" Sighs and leans back against her chair. "Either we attack first or let them… Else it'll be a stalemate forever."

"What we need is a strategy. Preparation for a large-scale attack takes priority, as we don't want to be taken by surprise. Run reconnaissance on the frontlines, follow their trails, know their movements…" Biting her nail, in deep thought. "It's a lot to do at once…"

In a way, Erin was right. Laura was just stubborn and wanted to handle things on her own instead of relying on others. "…Fine. I'll stay in the base for a while, but if things start to escalate, you'll have to let me go." She needed at least that much assurance to stay here.

"I know that. We can't have a representative anymore, that would put an even bigger target on our backs. I'm doing what I can to survive…" Laura fell silent for a moment, now sitting back on her chair with an uncertain expression. "…You want me to stay here and do nothing?"

Timeline issues, don't worry about it. "…I'm doing this for everyone's sake. G&K doesn't have a representative anymore, so someone has to follow up after what happened with Kryuger. I make sure we're under the radar… And away from danger." Looking up to Erin. "It's my duty."
