📣 @ILOAfghanistan is planning to organize a Knowledge Sharing event on Social Safeguards and Wage Setting for Employment-Intensive Investment and Cash4Work Programs in Afghanistan on 25 Nov 2024, bringing together the constituents, UNAFPs, nat&intl NGOs and the private sector.
ILOAfghanistan is supported by the excellent Decent Work Team (DWT) of specialists. We are grateful for all the support. Insightful and forward-looking deliberations with the DWT on how to enhance support to the people of Afghanistan.

The 3rd Nat and Intl Expo & Trade Fair of Kabul is being held (6-12 Oct. 2024), with the ILO support to women-owned/led businesses to participate in the exhibition and showcase their products. #DecentWork

August 12 is #InternationalYouthDay. Getting youth into decent jobs is not just essential for their future, but for the future of the countries and the global society. We flag #DecentJobs for Afghan young women and men. Investing in youth is tantamount to shaping a better future.

The Guidance Note on Social Safeguards for Employment-Intensive programmes, developed by the ILO in close consultation with UNAFPs, was presented to and discussed with the UNCT. Thanks for the insightful feedback. ILO continues to work with the UNCT on promoting the application.
