I don't want my kids' teachers armed and worried about a shootout. I just want them to teach my kids. But you CAN do expanded background checks and ban assault weapons. START THERE.

In the wake of the latest horror, Democrats should tell voters clearly that if they deliver two more Democratic senators, they will suspend the filibuster and pass new gun safety measures. Tell voters that they have recourse, and be *specific* about it: washingtonpost.com/opinions/2022/…
