Was behind someone at the grocery using WIC to pay for baby food and formula….Her second transaction was entirely fresh veggies, paid cash. Not all recipients are taking advantage. (It’s not about junk food and alcohol).

Likely drug deal in my hood tonight. Wife got upset that I walked outside and made my presence known to the participants. Wife said call the cops. @RCSD has proven repeatedly ineffective. Maybe we should have a TV show to spur some action.

I don’t have children, but empathize w/parents & community devastated by these events. I’m further enraged by the inaction our elected officials (both sides of the aisle) have always shown in response. “Thoughts and prayers?” You’ve been there, done that..how about do your job?

Great moment at the grocery; woman ahead of me had a large order & the young cashier was efficiently checking & bagging the order. Up the belt comes eggs, cashier scans,stops & checks to insure none where cracked. Small act, clear customer care! Gives me hope in America’s youth.
