I think Walker is the only viable contender. Gabby: Missed too much time Ketel: End of season was rough; may sway voters. Lourdes/McCarthy: Both had nice seasons, but OF is stacked.

Wanna say this last thing about the @Dbacks. I’m very grateful for this team despite the disappointing end. They’ve been tremendously fun to root for and I’m just glad to be along for the ride, wherever it ends

Despite several seasons where Torrey Luvello has made questionable decisions leading to losses, all managers do this. The issues of this team falls more on the players (specifically pitching). Firing him and making him the scapegoat is the wrong approach.

The @Dbacks can only blame themselves for this collapse. Take away the injuries, bullpen collapses, and random power outages from a normally terrific offense, and they still should have made it. What killed them was lack of urgency in the late summer.
