It is suggested for new accounts to rp with themselves, so you can get used to your character and so others may see your potential

((As rep. For @RpingForNoobs I am obliged to say that there is a strong different between RP and RL. Don't get caught in the two.))
So the golden rule is: you can make your character your own, but never take it too far out of character.
You can add your own concepts (so long as it remains true to the story) so the lesser characters can be enjoyably rped as.
There is a loop hole to this rule. And like every loop hole it shouldn't be exploited. If your character doesn't have much of a story
An example of this would be, if someone rped Final Fantasy VII's Zack as a hardcore villain, is straying far off Zack's personality.
But when you portray you hero (saying that this doesn't actually happen in that character's story) as the villain, however does
This is also not suggested for noobs who are just starting. Adding a twist to your character does not go against this rule
This is not suggested if you intend on joining a hardcore Rp community/ storyline. They are looking for very IC Rpers for storyline purposes
