Back in 2020, I was already writing the manuscript. I found this image by searching in my gallery the name of one of my characters. Featuring my sisters’ cat, Toulouse. Back then I had a plot filled with holes and was just going with vibes. We will see how it measures now.

I wasn’t looking for inspiration but then… it hit me hard. Amy Lee is coded like L. Poppy is coded like M. And Courtney is Canadian… the lyrics of this song cut deep because the lyrics touch the backstory of one on my characters. It’s giving me chills. #WritingCommunity

I wrote the synopsis for #entwined today as a fun exercise. Ok. It’s really hard because I had like 48 plot points to condense in 500 words. lol. One thing I liked is that if I removed the romance the plot would still hold. I think. 🤔

I speak Spanish natively and I found a way to make my FMC to know Spanish. Based on a true story of a nurse that I knew at the hospital here in Calgary and she had this perfect Spanish with Mexican accent because she had lived there.

Nah. Just had a few friends and we had fun doing homework and playing the Sims or watching movies. I was a good student and low-key trying to fit with my classmates. I also enjoyed reading and wasn’t afraid of math.

I read Handmaid's Tale in grade 8. From the public library. I always read beyond my grade level and I am SO happy that although I was raised in a VERY religious household (I am a pentecostal pastor's daughter), I was encouraged to read widely. My parents trusted me.
