Today I felt close to myself again. Somehow I went to sleep with a headache mid-March and now itās April. Thereās a lot to catch up on, but also, not. It just is. As long as I donāt lose my white dog on the white sand the day is a success. Small steps.
A rare day to watch the sun rise and then set over the Gulf of Mexico. One body of water, one state, different environment entirely. Thereās a lot wrong with Florida, but thereās a lot right, too.
You know what are no fun? Ocular migraines. Itās amazing how little is known about these synapse thunderstorms. Itās been awhile since my brain tuned into this frequency. Once the pattern starts it seems hard to stop again. My iPad screen looks like a Picasso. š«„
Sometimes the risk is worth the reward. Last summer we took a chance, moving to the middle of nowhere on a hunch. Watching the sun set over the pines doesn't get old. The same blue heron flies over every night to wherever they are roosting. It makes my heart happy. Otherā¦
