A week today hopefully I’ll be suffering not because I want to, but because it means my first marathon in eight years is finally done. No matter what, I’m on that start line, and even though the time is going to be terrible, I just hope I reach the finish line.

Back running again from Monday, it’s going to be tough, but needs to happen, and it’s time to get fit again. And at the end of week 25 I want to be on the start line for the Barcelona marathon and hopefully with 25kg off the waistline.

No runs since July, and the weight is going in wrong direction. Lots of interval training recently, occasionally interrupted by a soldier problem, but next week, ideally Monday a run has to happen.
