While I liked many of my books I reviewed there were several that were a struggle to get through due to my interest in the content. Those books were also harder to understand because I just wasn’t as interested in the content of the book #bookrevs19

@rangliru This was difficult as 5 of our 15 books were assigned to us. I think if we had a choice on all of them, it may have been easier to understand and not struggle with so many. #bookrevs19

@rangliru You make a great point that I forgot to mention. There were two books that were much harder for me to read because of the difficulty in subject matter.

@rangliru I found myself facing the same problem. I picked a couple of books because of the cover and title looked interesting. I ran into the problem that the title and cover wasn't what the whole book was about. This made it difficult for me to get interested. #bookrevs19

@rangliru I agree with you! When reviewing books in the real world, not for a grade, I think it’s important to be honest with yourself and review books that you are truly interested in and say no if you are not.
