The more you curse your anxiety, the worse it gets. Accept your anxiety, try to relax, and things will get better. #SocialAnxiety
Social Anxiety Disorder stems from being brainwashed as a child. You were somehow taught to believe you are living in a hostile world, and it has stayed with you. You view social interactions irrationally, and tend to avoid them. #socialanxiety
If you're feeling any anxiety and negative thoughts today, remember to ignore it. Tell your mind to STOP, and find a nice distraction.
I feel Social Anxiety isn't taken seriously enough as a mental disorder. Many people suffer with it, and there needs to be more awareness.
@hannahlovesit_ I used to do the same thing. Maybe try it just once. If it is too hard, you can leave the table. You can do it.
Control your thoughts or they will control you. Don't allow yourself to keep thinking negatively.
Accept yourself as you are today. Acceptance allows for change and growth. Be yourself. Be yourself. Be yourself. Accept it.
Try not to feel sorry for yourself. It only makes things worse and fuels anxiety.
What others think of you doesn't change who you are as a person.

@SomeKindOfTyler I know how you feel. Remind yourself though that those thoughts aren't true, and people will like you once they know you
Don't worry about what people think of you. If people judge you negatively, they are the ones with an issue, not you. #SocialAnxiety
@k_bbbrown it's better to try not to think, ignore the negative thoughts and doubts. Not easy but can be done with reinforcement.
Don't believe your negative thoughts about yourself, or the negative thoughts of others towards you. They aren't true.
@SenpeiSam if anyone thinks having Social Anxiety is "cool", then they have no idea what social anxiety is.
@DinosGoRawr8 don't think about the negative feelings. Ignore it. Focus on each word and don't speak too fast and you will do OK.

@snugglyhxrry no problem. It's a paradox. You would think feeling bad and being angry would help, but it does the opposite. Acceptance helps
@snugglyhxrry I know how you feel. 1 of the most important things I learned about SA is that self-loathing fuels it. Accepting it kills it.
