I have nothing against the women's team. But whilst they may play under the name of Huddersfield Town, they are not the #htafc team that I support. I have no affinity to the women's team and couldn't name a single player...

The problem I (and others) have is that a tweet about the women's team may as well be a tweet about the NY Yankees. It's just not what I'm interested in. It's the equivalent of receiving junk mail through the post.

@SANDRA_HTFC Not sure why there is all this hate towards the club when Man City, Arsenal and other big sides do exactly what Town are doing. The problem with X is it’s given people a voice about absolutely everything and it’s not for the better. The world is far poorer place for social media

@SANDRA_HTFC But that can change though if it’s backed enough. The women’s team have had to pay to use the kits and badges. And now they don’t. And if Nagle backs them properly they can get into the WSL. We’ve got to back it.

@SANDRA_HTFC exactly this. It’s not misogynistic to only want to see the team you support, most people are going mad but half of them couldn’t name 1 player for the women’s.

@SANDRA_HTFC Just a couple Kate Malin, played more matches for Town than any other player and Beth Ibbotson named in the leagues team of the year last year. I would also challenge many fans to name any boy from our under age teams but don't take that as a reason to stop the academy.

@SANDRA_HTFC Don’t get this post at all. They’re trying to push women’s football to the wider fan base which is excellent. Not suprised you’ve posted this under ‘sandra’ rather than your personal account. Still is a Huddersfield Town team and would be nice to get behind them too.

@SANDRA_HTFC I agree. They are a different team in my eyes. I only support one team and that’s Huddersfield Men 1st team. Don’t even support England. I have no interest in other teams. Oh and I’m a woman and a feminist.

@SANDRA_HTFC But that can all change now with info coming onto your feed and you have double the joy of supporting Huddersfield Town. Think about young girls who are listening around you and others. Just give it a chance and support your club and players no matter what their gender is.
