A few months ago, house around the corner sold—7000 sq ft, 5 BD, 6 BA, pool—$2.95M. Later learned it was purchased by an older woman and her brother for just the two of them. People can obv do what they want, I’m just trying to imagine WANTING to deal with all that at their age…

Oh no. No one could ever make me hate brown eyed girl bc it’s my 80 yo mother’s (who has blue eyes??) fave. Like since before I was born. The other day, it started playing at a restaurant, and my 4 yo niece ran over yelling, “it’s Mimi’s favorite song!!” and I almost cried lol.

My sister and I are not twins, but we still look enough alike and live near each other that random people at places we both regularly go (coffee shops etc.) will be like, “do you have a twin? I’ve seen someone else who looks almost exactly like you.” Happened again tonight 😂

We just closed on our house after a yearlong search. My 6yodaughter chose her room during the open house because it had a little turtle throw pillow on the bed. And our realtor got her a closing gift—that exact pillow 🥹 I’m always impressed by people who are amazing gift-givers.

Baby gender assumptions can be so funny. My sis has a 4 yo girl and almost-2-yo boy. My niece has often been assumed a boy and my nephew a girl. I think bc my niece has short dark hair that took forever to grow & doesn’t love “girly colors” and my nephew has long blonde curls 🤷🏻‍♀️

Idk, this just wasn’t true IME, if we’re sharing anecdotes. I had a lot of engineering/pre-med friends and none of them took upper-level humanities courses. I (English major) took physics and stats but I wouldn’t consider that “upper-level” either.

Everyone posting comments like this is annoying. I work in the corporate world, but not knowing the details about corporate structure isn’t some kind of intelligence failure. I actually think the bigger failure is projecting an air of superiority for knowing it. Good for you!
