I didn't use my CUDA value iteration solver for this, just my old line-following algo, to get something up and running. The problem with that is this algorithm really likes to wander back and forth and needs a lot of tuning. And requires a good pre-made line.
After looking at the data I logged, the major problem is the low speed oscillation around the intended path, which is partly due to GPS lag (I think) and mostly due to bad tuning. Too tired to look into it any more right now.
@SmallpixelCar data.selfracingcars.com - the @Swiftnav data has inner and outer lines. I computed a fresh race line from it but also used one logged from @joshu's car in a prior year.
