Starting today, all of the Central Oregon District is in "High" fire danger. This does mean that fireworks are prohibited on ODF-protected land. Check the full list of public and industry restrictions at oregon.gov/odf/fire/pages….

Update: Fire is contained. Crews are responding along with Cloverdale, Black Butte Ranch Fire, USFS, ODF to a reported brush fire off of Cold Springs Road near Sisters.

Crews are responding along with Cloverdale, Black Butte Ranch Fire, USFS, ODF to a reported brush fire off of Cold Springs Road near Sisters. More information as we receive it. Fire is about 1/4 acre, lined and crews are working to extinguish. Fire is under investigation.

ＮｅｗＩｎｃｉｄｅｎｔ！Incident 830 near Juniper Canyon south of Prineville. Numerous resources enroute. Including air attack and 2 SEATS. Strong winds pushing the fire. Estimated to be ~5 acres.

At this time all but one of the fires has been kept to less than 1/4 acre. Incident 626-Doghouse Gulch is estimated at 15 acres. Fire is located in the S. Fork of the John Day River area. Red Flag warning continues tonight with abundant lightning. New fires are expected.

#Newberryfire USFS law enforcement determined the cause was fuels igniting following firewood cutting yesterday. It occurred at a legal location and time. Reminder as of this morning all commercial and private firewood cutting is no longer permitted on USFS & BLM lands in C. OR.
